As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been a landmark year for our association and for North Carolina’s franchised new automobile, truck and RV dealers. From the halls of the General Assembly to dealerships in every corner of the state, the unity and engagement of NCADA members made a real difference in 2025.

As we enter the new year, I’m struck by how much has changed — and how much remains worth protecting — in North Carolina’s automobile industry. Our industry is evolving at a pace few could have imagined even a decade ago. From electric vehicles and digital retailing to manufacturer restructuring and supply chain realignments, the landscape is shifting quickly. Yet, amid all that change, two things remain constant: the strength of the franchise system and the commitment of North Carolina dealers to their customers and communities.
