As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been a landmark year for our association and for North Carolina’s franchised new automobile, truck and RV dealers. From the halls of the General Assembly to dealerships in every corner of the state, the unity and engagement of NCADA members made a real difference in 2025.
Our industry faced challenges and opportunities alike — and once again, we rose to the occasion. Working together with our legislative champions, NCADA secured major victories to modernize and protect North Carolina’s franchise system. We witnessed new leadership emerge within our association, implemented a new association management system to enhance operations, and relaunched programs such as the Young Leaders Group to engage the next generation of leaders. Most importantly, we continued to tell the story of what our dealers mean to the communities they serve.
I also want to thank everyone who attended and supported the NCADA Executive Forum in Durham in December. This event remains one of the most impactful gatherings of the year, where our industry comes together to hear from policymakers, share ideas, and celebrate the remarkable first responders honored through our Hometown Heroes program. Your engagement at the forum sent a clear message that NCADA’s members are committed, informed and united.
As we move forward into 2026, I would like to personally encourage each member to make or renew their commitment to the NCADA AutoPAC and the NCADA Victory Fund. These programs play a key role in ensuring that our industry’s voice is heard and that policymakers understand the real-world impact of their decisions. Much of the progress we’ve made over the years has been possible because of the collective engagement these efforts support. If you haven’t yet contributed this year, please consider doing so. Your participation, at any level, truly makes a difference.
On behalf of the NCADA officers and board of directors, thank you for making 2025 another year of progress, purpose and pride. Your support — through membership, participation and advocacy — is what makes NCADA one of the strongest dealer associations in the country. I look forward to working together as we build on last year’s momentum throughout 2026.
Here’s to a strong start to 2026 and another year of success.
