Last year, NCADA recognized a record 88 first responders at a single luncheon, and hundreds more Hometown Heroes through dealer events across the state.
NCADA’s Hometown Heroes is a program of the NCADA Charitable Foundation and serves as a steady public voice for North Carolina’s first responders and for the people who spend their lives serving others.
Host a Hometown Heroes Dealer Event
The most direct way to participate is to host a recognition event at your store, bringing your team, your customers and your community together to honor someone local.
It’s simpler than it sounds, and NCADA will walk you through it. Whether you’re honoring one person or several, we can help with planning and recognition materials, and the event can be shaped to fit your dealership and your town.
Nominate a Hero for the Hometown Heroes Luncheon
If hosting isn’t the right fit, you can nominate someone to be recognized at NCADA’s Hometown Heroes Luncheon during the 2026 Executive Forum on Dec. 9. The nomination process is easy, and our team can help at every step, including helping you identify a deserving nominee if you don’t already have one in mind.
One requirement: If your dealership nominates a hero, we ask that a dealership representative attend the Executive Forum on Dec. 9 to represent your honoree at the luncheon.
Every nomination extends the program’s reach into another community. We’d like to be in all of them. For more information, contact Abigail Campbell at acampbell@ncada.com.
