NCADA’s Hometown Heroes Program Continues in 2025

North Carolina's Hometown Heroes - Silhouettes of a firefighter, police officer, and medical worker in front of an American flag

Hometown Heroes is an initiative that began in 2016 in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on America. The program of the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association (NCADA) Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, has a mission that is simple yet profound: to serve as a positive and unwavering voice for North Carolina’s first responders. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of recognizing and honoring more than 1,000 extraordinary individuals who selflessly dedicate their lives to the safety and well-being of our communities.

Once again, we’re calling on our very own dealer members to nominate outstanding first responders who have gone above and beyond in service to their communities. Selected honorees will be recognized during our Hometown Heroes Luncheon at the Executive Forum this December.

In addition, we’re encouraging dealers across the state to host Hometown Hero Events at their dealerships to celebrate and honor local heroes. If you’d like to plan an event but aren’t sure where to start, NCADA is here to help — we can provide a helpful event checklist and guidance to make it easy.

To submit a nomination or request event assistance, please contact Kobe Fike at kfike@ncada.com.
